This Hellhound challenge is working out well!

For those who don't know, I'm writing an epic poem about a black hellhound named Pyronatus. I will do an art trade with anyone who wants to draw him using the guidelines below (pose doesn't matter).


Head

Skull: Large, deep sockets Reference
Jaws: Powerful, large teeth Reference
Eyes: Cat-like, round when dilated and slitted when constricted. Golden in the light but reflect white eyeshine in the dark. Reference
Ears: Pointed, triangular Reference

Body

Fur: Black or dark gray, hairless so very short carpet of fuzz, razor-sharp when bristled, no wrinkles Reference
Legs: Long, slender yet powerful. Regular paws. Reference
Nails: Black, long, curved Reference
Tail: Medium-length, no fluff, pointed Reference
